 I had a biological experiment about photosynthesis this morning, and it was designed by a famous biologist, Hill. The purpose about the experiment was to figure out whether sunlight or chloroplast affect the photosynthesis, the result is both of them are the elements lead to photosynthesis. Although most of people have viewed it as a common sense now, but the experiment was designed in the 1930s, the contemporary people didn't have that much knowledge we have today, and the experiment was groundbreaking that time, I think it's really cool  to learn about it.

I had a biology experiment about photosynthesis this morning, and it was designed by a famous biologist named Hill.
The purpose of the experiment was to find out whether sunlight or chloroplasts affect photosynthesis.
The result showed that both are essential elements that lead to photosynthesis.

Although most people see this as common knowledge today, the experiment was designed in the 1930s, when people didn’t have as much scientific knowledge as we do now.
At that time, this experiment was truly groundbreaking, and I think it’s really cool to learn about it.

我今天早上做了一個有關光合作用的生物實驗,這個實驗是由一位著名的生物學家 Hill 設計的。
這個實驗的目的是要了解光合作用是否受到陽光或葉綠體的影響,結果顯示,這兩者都是促成光合作用的重要因素。

雖然現在大多數人已經把這當作常識了,但這個實驗是在1930年代設計的,當時的人對這方面的知識遠不如我們現在多。
在那個時代,這個實驗是非常突破性的,我覺得能學到這一點真的很酷!
